To Create an Import and Export Package

An Import and Export Package is the starting point for loading data into or exporting data from AssetWise.

Follow these steps to create an import or export package in AssetWise CONNECT Edition.

Accept or change the current Scope.
Note: See Scope for more information.
From the Import and Export tile, select New package.

The New Import and Export Package page appears:
Enter a Name for the package.
Note: This field is required.
Enter a detailed Description for the package.
When you are finished, click Save Changes ( ).

The Data Import and Export package is created and you can now add a file to the package.
